Gunflint Lodge, in northern MN, adjacent to the Boundary Waters Wilderness has lakeside cabins w/ fireplace, sauna, 1-4 bedrooms, 1-4 baths, full kitchens & many w/hot tubs. Two dining rooms-a bistro & Justine's for fine dining, open year around.

Property Details

The lodge and cabins are on the south shore of Gunflint Lake, looking across at Canada. Cabins are scattered along the lakeshore and all have many extra comforts- king and queen beds, a full bath for each bedroom, full kitchens, rock fireplaces, sauna and many have a hot tub and washer and dryer.

The lodge is open year around with summer activities focusing on the naturalist program, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, mt. biking, and swimming. Winter activities include cross country skiing on nearly 80 km of groomed trails, dog sledding and snowshoeing.

A full time naturalist program offers guided activities, such as hikes, sunset cruises, breakfast paddles, muckwomping trips, candle making, kids fishing fun, wreath making, and birding walks.

The resort is pet friendly.

Two dining rooms give you a choice from lighter meals in the Red Paddle Bistro to full gourmet fine dining in Justine's.

In addition to a basic cabin rental option, many package plans are available such as a Grand Slam Fishing Package, Family Package, Honeymoon Package, Romantic Getaway Package, a Dog Lovers Weekend, Wine Tasting Weekends, Women's Horseback Riding weekends, and a Thanksgiving Weekend Package.
