We are set in the magnificent Southern Drakensberg Mountains ( part of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site ), near Underberg

Enjoy the tranquility of our private 25 acres, with pure spring water and lovely views. Take the Duiker or Kingfisher trail, or spend a day hiking in the berg. Bird watch and add to the checklist of over 100 bird species or cast a fly into our well stocked trout dams (Gavin, a practicing veterinarian and keen trout fisherman will gladly assist you in your quest for that elusive “whopper’ ) Swim in the river , the dams or filtered splash pool. Canoe, paddle ski or row. Tube the river, ride horses, visit San rock art sites, take a 4X4 trip up Sani Pass or simply relax!.

Honeymoon in Kestrel or Falcon. Bring the whole family and friends to Lammergeier log cabin, Sparrowhawk log and block cottage or Jackal Buzzard cottage. Enjoy winter evenings before a cosy log fire.
All cottages are comfortably apportioned, fully equipped, and serviced from Monday to Saturday. An extra charge will be levied for a service on Sunday viz. R80 for Lammergeier, Sparrowhawk and Jackal Buzzard and R50 for Falcon and Kestrel.. These must be arranged prior to arrival.
We are the ideal “getaway from it all” destination. (But for those who require to stay in touch we do have good cell phone reception.)

Chalets may be occupied at 14H00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10H00 on the day of departure.
