This apartment has a traditional wood-beam ceiling and terracotta floors and it is composed:
sitting/dining room, kitchenette, double sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, shower/wc. Cot and high chair on request.
Situed on a hill, still surrounded by the ancient city wall, stands the old medieval town of Certaldo which was built entirely from red bricks and has preserved its fascinating integrity. Ideal for a vacation in a relaxing surrounding, rich with history and culture in the hearth of Tuscany. It it is known worldwide especially as the hometown of Giovanni Boccaccio, who lived and died on 1375 in his house at Via Boccaccio. Certaldo is just a short trip away from the most important towns and villages in the region. Distances: San Gimignano 10km, Siena 30km, Firenze 40km, Volterra 30km, Pisa e Lucca 60km. Especially in the summer period, there are many cultural, musical and artistic events. In July the spectacular festival called "MERCANTIA" with its street artists and artisans on every corner of Medieval town.
