Perfect for a couple or small family, it is a magical place of old stone walls, fields, woods and solitude--yet close to many natural and historic attractions. Out back is a stone terrace with grill overlooking an expansive meadow, spring-fed pond and endless woods. 750 square feet inside, sleeps 2-5. Huge, sunny livingroom has DVD/VCR, writing desk, cozy couch, rocking chairs, books. Eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. Full bath. Outside fireplace comes with free wood. Within minutes of fishing, hiking, horseback riding,antique shops, and excellent regional restaurants. Fast drive to Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame) Cobleskill (Howe Caverns), East Durham (Irish music pubs) and Sharon Springs (historic bathing resort).
