An ideal year-round city destination it’s the perfect place for history lovers, food & wine lovers and lovers who just love to getaway! Families and friends are happily accommodated in our 2 bedroom apartment behind the blue & white facade. Climb up the 29 polished wooden steps and enjoy hand painted tiles, marble sinks and all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. A top of one Lisbon's seven hills, the apartment sits in the shadow of one of the cities famous 18 C' monuments, and adjacent to a designated shopping district, where the 1st Portuguese republic began with a throw of a grenade! Close, but not too close to all the central tourist area, you'll be happy to call this your home from home in Lisbon!

This astonishingly original apartment sits next to the great white dome of the 18th C' Basilica Estrela, Lisbon's Sacra Coeur and further down the hill is the Prime Minister's official residence next to Portuguese Parliament. The adjacent parish, which boasts the opulent Lapa Palace hotel along with sumptuous palaces now acting as embassies, is considered THE best area in the capital. The lush outdoor pleasures of the 19th C' French designed Estrela garden; the oldest in the city is only a two minute walk away. Further up the hill is a shopper’s paradise, with select gourmet specialist shops, a very large food market and many highly revered restaurants. Two of the city's main antique shopping districts are also close by. The heart of the old city is easy to get to either by foot in 20 minutes or by bus or taxi and the antique 28 tram passes nearly all of the major tourist monuments in the city. Here you have to best of both worlds, living like a Lisbon local and at the same time being close enough to the tourist centre, but as one guest so aptly put it - its great to come home after a hard day doing your tourist thing!

Rental Policy

A non returnable deposit of 30% required to secure booking, full payment due 8 weeks before arrival. For last minute bookings full amount is payable on confirmation. Consider purchasing travel insurance for protection against losses due to emergency change-of-plans. Rates and availability subject to change without notice.

Arrival Times

Check-in after 4pm, check-out before 10am. We can be flexible about arrival time if you send us your travel schedule well in advance. Changeover day flexible.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

3 NIGHT STAY MINIMUM. LOW SEASON Daily rates for 1-2 people €85, 3-4 people €115 per night, weekly €770. HIGH SEASON 1-2 people €90per night weekly €595,3-4 people €120 per night, weekly €805. Rates are all inclusive, there are not additional fees for utilities, cleaning or taxes. Maid service once a week, bed linen and towels changed weekly. Security deposit against breakages is €100, returned on departure.
