Themed guestrooms (Northwoods, Homestead, Garden, Lily Pad and Railroad themes) all feature: cozy gas-log fireplace/air-conditioning, double whirlpools, king-beds, private baths, writing tables, soft robes and lakeside deck or patio views. Antiques and family heirlooms lend to a friendly, warm feeling. Delicious full breakfasts are served in the dining room. Guest snack area has a refrig., microwave and icemaker. Winner of Nat'l Awards in Inn Traveler magazine with features of a small resort and secluded getaway: songbirds, wildlife, quiet comfort, shady walking trails, benches overlooking the lake, cedar gazebo and a quiet lake to explore in complimentary canoes or paddleboats.
Private 2 bedroom lakeside cottage is also available for weekly rental June-Sept with watercraft included. Casino, antiques and quilting or woodworking shops are nearby.
