Located directly on the Atlantic, this secluded home fronts one of the few natural sand beaches in the Florida Keys. The 165 foot long wooden dock has a palm chickee and running water. Sit and enjoy the sea breezes, watch the moon rise, or gaze out over the Florida Straits---you can almost see Cuba!. Fish for the grand slam on the flats: tarpon/bonefish/permit. Hunt for lobster and stone crabs, or spear snapper and grouper. Outside the reef, hook dolphin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo and more. Or fish the back country to the Gulf.

Dive the patch reefs, or nearby Looe Key. The dock has mooring whips for securing a 20’ flats boat. 2 canoes are available. Boat rentals are available at the end of the street. Long Beach is located adjacent to a wildlife refuge and there are many birds such as Great Herons, Egrets, Ibis and Brown Pelicans for your viewing pleasure. Key Deer frequent Long Beach and can be seen almost any day in the early morning and at dusk on the beach or as you bicycle on quiet Long Beach Drive. 2 bikes included.

The guest suite includes a sitting room with a daybed and trundle, a separate bedroom with twin beds, bath and kitchenette. A perfect vacation home with 2 satellite dish TV’s, TIVOs, Wireless Internet, 2 zone central A/C, washer/dryer. Three miles to downtown Big Pine Key for all your shopping needs. Close to Bahia Honda State Park (with one of Florida’s best beaches) this island home is very private and quiet yet only 32 miles by Overseas Highway to Key West. Marathon, located across the 7 Mile Bridge, is about the same distance. This palm laden, private, beachfront spot is truly unique!
