This charming vacation home is ideal for a wonderful family getaway. It's located in the beautiful Madaket section on the west end of Nantucket known for its stunning sunsets over the water.

We’ve named our cottage “3buoys” and it is located at 41 Tennessee Avenue, a quiet country road about five miles from downtown and near a shuttle bus stop.

This secluded knotty-pine paneled cottage is located a 100 yards up a grassy path from Hither Creek, which is a navigable waterway that flows into Madaket Harbor. This is a great spot from which to launch your kayak or canoe.

Madaket Beach, which is a gorgeous soft-sand big surf ocean beach, is less than a mile down the Madaket bike path from “3buoys”. It’s also a short half-mile walk to Madaket Harbor and a sandy shallow harbor beach that’s great for small children.

Two of its bedrooms have new queen-sized beds and the 3rd bedroom has 4 bunk beds. It sleeps 8 comfortably. It was newly renovated in 2003 and it has all new appliances, linens and china. “3buoys” comes equipped with a gas grill, beach chairs, towels, and a beach cooler. It has a new central heating system and a washer/dryer. There is also a dishwasher, blender, icemaker, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. It has cable TV (includes HBO), a DVD player and a Sony playstation. There’s a great enclosed outside shower off a very private back yard. Everything you need for a great island vacation is included.

“3buoys” is available by the week or for longer periods between May and October. Don’t delay in making your reservations since last summer we completely sold out. Also you need to be making car ferry reservations soon to guarantee the best times.

Rates:
April 29 to June 16--$1600 a week
June 16 to July 1--$1900 a week
July 1 to July 22--$2800 a week
July 22 to August 26--$3300 a week
August 26 to September 23--$1900 a week
September 23 to October 28--$1600 a week

50% of rental fee due at lease signing
balance due (including security) 6 weeks prior to start date
