This quiet cozy town is situated at the southwest entrance of Mt Rainier on State Route 706 East. Beautifull valley views, with snow topped peaks surround the area. Elk and deer often stroll across the highway at each end of the town, or can be seen munching on grass along side the road. There are two small grocery stores, a few restaurants, several specialty gift shops, a coffee shop with wifi available, a visitors center, and a few mountain climbing guide centers. There are even rentals available for snow shoeing, sledding etc.
