The Dinosaur House is a very unique 2 bdrm, 2 bath villa with a Hot Tub & Incredible Views of the Caribbean. The walls of the main level are made of stone with fossils and minerals of all types embedded in the walls for your delight and pleasure.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath masterpiece is located on St John in the US Virgin Islands and boasts some of the most incredible views of the Caribbean, including beautiful sunrises. The Dinosaur House is truly an artistic masterpiece which you will never forget. The 76 steps to the main level as well as nearly all the stone walls of the house inside and out are filled with fossils and minerals to delight and fascinate you. The Dinosaur House includes the upstairs Master Bedroom suite also known as Calabash Views (with its own kitchenette) as well as the main level of the house with a Hot Tub, full kitchen, and many additional amenities. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned with queen beds, but there is also a queen size air mattress that could be used in the living room for an additional couple or children for an extra $25/person/night.

This delicious hide-away is perfect for your special honeymoon or quiet retreat, and is located within a few miles of all these local delights: beautiful beaches, snorkeling and scuba, sailing, sport fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, Virgin Islands National Park, many wonderful restaurants and nightlife including live entertainment in season, shopping, and visits to archaeological sites of early Danish ruins.

Rental Policies

Cancellation policy: Reservations canceled 30 days or less before arrival will incur a 50% penalty, and between 30 and 60 days prior to arrival will incur a 10% penalty. In either case, if we are able to re-book your dates, we will give you a full refund (less any PayPal fees that we may have incurred).

Rental Rates

$2,200.00 to $2,900.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

In-Season (Nov 1- April 30) rates are $2,400/week. For less than a week it is $350 per night. If more than a week, it is $340 per additional night.
Off-Season (May 1 – July 31) rates are $2,200/week. For less than a week it is $320 per night. If more than a week, it is $310 per additional night.
Christmas/New Years (Dec 22 – Jan 5) and Presidents Day (Feb 16 – 23) are $2,900/week. Extra nights are $410/night.
There is a 5 night minimum.
Prices are for 2-4 people. Additional adults or children (up to 2 extra) are $25 extra per person per night. There is a queen size air mattress available for the extra people.
Check-in at 2 pm, check-out by 10 am.

Deposit: To confirm your reservation, a check in the amount of 50% of the total rental fee is required. If we do not receive a deposit check within 14 days, your reservation will be canceled. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. Payment by PayPal is available: e-mail owner.
