Titusville: Where Important Aviation History is on Display

Located in Brevard County, Florida, Titusville is a city situated near the Atlantic coastline but not directly on it. Instead, the community of situated along the Indian River and is located near both the Kennedy Space Center and the Canaveral National Seashore. The former attraction has caused Titusville to be referred to as "Space City, USA," but due to the proximity of the seaside, technological tourist sites are definitely not the only things that draw visitors south to stay in holiday rental homes in Titusville. The Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum



Visitors who are attracted to Titusville's "Space City" ambiance will probably also appreciate the chance to visit the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, which is located just south of the city. This museum contains a variety of vintage airplanes such as fixed wing aircraft used during World War I. A 'working' museum, the facility features an area dedicated to the restoration of these important historical artifacts related to aviation.



Other attractions in the museum include all sorts of flight gear such as uniforms and weapons associated with aircraft used in warfare and the men who flew them. More than 30,000 square feet of hanger space allow the museum to display a wide assortment of such aircraft and assorted memorabilia.
