We're conveniently placed just a one minute walk from Windermere centre with its many specialist shops, banks, restaurants and pubs. Lake Windermere and numerous central Lake District attractions are easily accessible. Visitors coming by train or express coach will find us convenient as we are located just five minutes walk from the station or bus stop.

Guests can expect a first class service and we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and the quality of our hearty breakfasts. We are familiar with the Lake District and its attractions and features, and can help guests plan their stay if required. We can also book tours and trips for guests and can advise on activities and special interests. Green Gables offers a choice of special deals and discounts. Children's prices are reduced depending on age. Children under 4 years of age stay free with us. Family room rates are available on request.

All our tastefully appointed rooms have colour TV, hair dryers, and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a comfortable lounge bar on the ground floor where smoking is permitted. Seven letting bedrooms are available, and include 2 en-suite Doubles, 1 en-suite Family triple (can be used as a twin or double), 1 en-suite Single, 2 Family triple rooms with private facilities (can be used as twin or double) and 1 family four (1 double, 2 singles) with private facilities (can be used as twin or double).

Stay 4 Nights, from Sunday night to Thursday morning or Monday night to Friday morning for only £80 per person (based on 2 adults sharing a room) inclusive of a full English breakfast. Please quote offer AT0610 when booking. Alternatively, stay 2 or more nights and receive a discount on the standard room rate.
