A clean comfortable log cottage retreat. Spacious and fully equipped with a grand wilderness view to the Cape Breton Highlands! It offers a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living/dining area with a new glass front wood stove with backup electric heat. The large picture window and front porch presents a wonderful view of the unspoiled natural beauty of rolling hills and the Cape Breton Highlands. The bedroom downstairs has a double bed and there is a full bath with tub and shower. Upstairs there is a large open room with chalet style balcony.
While the Log Chalet is very quiet and secluded on our 200 acre wilderness property, it’s also only 10 minutes away from the famous resort town of Baddeck. Nearby are two world class golf courses, museums, The Gaelic college, and Highland National Park. Along the famous Cabot Trail enjoy whale watching, puffin tours, sailing, lobster feeds, Celtic festival events and a thriving artistic community.
In fact our central location makes it ideal for day trips to any part of Cape Breton Island and then returning to the peace and quiet of your private retreat cabin.
