This spectacular home offers almost every amenity imaginable [two large decks and patios with truly stunning ocean views, floors of Italian tile, imported bathroom fixtures, etc.]

The living room is comfortably furnished in an assortment of rattan furniture and is equipped with a CD/cassette/radio music system. Throughout the house, rooms are decorated with many pieces of artwork purchased in such places as Indonesia, Australia, Solomon Islands, Kingdom of Tonga, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Central and South America, Mexico, East Africa, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia and of course Fiji.

The kitchen modern and fully-equipped with such items as a custom-built eight-foot long stainless counter with double sinks, high quality Cusinart cookware, imported dishware and flatware, microwave oven, blender, coffee maker, two large refrigerator-freezers and much, much more.

A real favorite here at Marau Vale is the magnificent 100-sq. ft. rock enclosed outdoor shower overlooking the gardens and ocean while offering complete privacy.

The master bedroom has one king-sized bed. The second bedroom offers one double bed and one twin bed [on request]. All the king-sized and double-sized beds are fitted with pure Egyptian cotton sheets. In addition to the beautiful master bathroom, there is also another 1/2 bath, PLUS the spectacular outdoor shower.

Daily living however in Fiji finds us mostly out-of-doors, and this is where Marau Vale truly shines. The 1750 sq. ft. of decks and patio offer majestic ocean views and are outfitted with wonderfully comfortable furnishings along with a huge BBQ area.

The gardens here offer fresh papaya, banana, avocados, coconuts and pineapple to consume, and magnificently colorful flower-filled tropical gardens to gaze upon. The 400-foot beach is composed of soft white sand. Taveuni snorkeling is excellent and kayaks are available for rent nearby to get you to the best sites, or to simply escape on one of the nearby totally deserted islands. Or simply swim out in front of the house where the snorkeling can be quite good.

All your needs will be fulfilled by Maureen and Sireli, our two wonderful full-time caretakers who live on the property in a separate house. Maureen will gladly assist in cooking meals or to take care of full meal preparations if you specifically request. She also oversees all general housekeeping chores (daily cleaning of the house, washing dishes, washing/drying of clothes, etc., etc.) They are both wonderful in massage and offer our Marau Vale guests a full one-hour massage for only USD$12/hr. Most guests indulge themselves at least several times a week. Sireli is also an accomplished guitarist, and both he and Maureen have beautiful singing voices. They love to serenade our guests with melodic Fijian songs during the evening hours. You are certain to fall in love with these two most gracious hosts.

Rental Policies

RESERVATIONS/DEPOSITS
Reservation dates once confirmed will be held for a period of 10-days. In order to guarantee a confirmed reservation, a $250/week deposit is required. Final payment must be made at least 45 days prior to your Fiji arrival. All deposit and final payments must be in the form of a Certified Bank Draft in U.S. Dollars or via bank wire transfer directly into our bank in Fiji.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received prior to 45 days of arrival will be charged the full deposit. Cancellations received 45 - 30 days prior to the arrival, will be charged 50% of the total rental. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to your arrival will be 100% non-refundable. In case of cancellation 50% of the total cancellation fee may be applied to a future reservation within a 1-year period. There are no refunds for unused portions of the rental reservations.

Rental Rates

$1,820.00 to $1,820.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

The rental rate for Marau Vale is $280 per night. Discounted rates for longer stays are as follows: Weekly $1820 ($260/night); two weeks $3400 ($242/night); and monthly $6250 ($201/night). Rates quoted are in U.S. Dollars and for up to 2 persons. For additional persons, add $15 p.p./night. Should you wish the house fully provisioned with foods, costs are $30 per person per day and include literally everything to your specific desires (excluding soft drinks & alcohol).
