Property Details

Lovely two bedroom cottage with view of water and fabulous sunsets. The cottage sits on half an acre in a quiet location across from a large, clean, white sand beach, similar to Wasaga. The beach is much less busy though, since the area is mostly populated by year-round residents and the nearest public parking is quite a ways down the road.

Bluewater Beach is about half way between Wasaga and Balm Beach on Georgian Bay. It is less than 10 minutes from Elmvale and about 15 minutes from Midland and Wasaga Beach, all of which have all kinds of shopping and entertainment. There is even a drive-in theatre about a five minute drive away.

The cottage has large decks front and back with propane barbeque and picnic table with umbrella. There is a large wooden swing set in the backyard, as well as a firepit and wired 'bunkie' with two makeshift beds much enjoyed by children. The huge sand dune hill beyond the backyard affords the children further entertainment, and is another beautiful sight in the glow cast by the setting sun.

Inside, those who enjoy relaxing in a bath will appreciate the newly constructed 4 piece bathroom complete with soaker tub. Tongue and groove pine on the vaulted ceiling over the living room and kitchen and the floor to ceiling windows facing the water provide ambiance, and the new energy efficient windows and ceiling fan provide comfort. The cottage is fully equipped with all the necessities (pots & pans, frost-free fridge, electric stove, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, percolator, popcorn maker, etc.), as well as TV with VCR and DVD player, stereo with CD player, and comfortable beds with mattress covers, pillows, and blankets. In addition, the recently drilled well provides plenty of clean, tasty water.

Rental Policies

Weekly minimum during high season. Reservation secured by payment of one-half of total rental, with balance payable (along with $250 damage deposit) prior to arrival.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Saturday to Saturday rentals only during high season (June 30th - September 1st). Weekend rentals possible during low season (June, September, October).
