Make "The Guest House" your annual vacation fun spot! It's easy to find and is paved to the door with ample parking including room for your boat trailer. It's located on Horseshoe Bend on the four mile marker.

Property Details

It is located on Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. It's in the Horseshoe Bend area on mile marker 4. From the corner of HH and Business 54, go 4 miles west to Cherokee Road, take Cherokee Road 1.8 miles to Ute Road, turn left on Ute Road and it will be the first house on your right.

The house sits up high so your view of the lake and lake activities is great. All rooms have a view of the lake and the Living room opens onto a huge deck. There is plenty of seating for dining either inside or out on the deck. On the deck is a gas BBQ for your use.

We've decorated and furnished it with things we enjoy and think our guests will also enjoy and make them feel welcome. We've furnished a number of video tapes, books, games, & brochures of close by activities. We've even furnished some fishing tackle and a small tackle box containing a few lures, hooks, etc. for the guests that might enjoy that. There is a sand box for the small kiddies and horseshoe pitching for the older kiddies.

Two of the bedrooms have King Size beds, and the 3rd bedroom has two twin size beds. All 3 have their own entrance to the deck outside their patio doors. A TV is also in each bedroom.

The living/dining room has a TV, DVD and VCR to enjoy.

All the linens, towels (except beach towels), and wash clothes are furnished. The kitchen is fully furnished with most any kind appliance you might want, coffee pot, blender, toaster, plates, eating and cooking utensils and pans. Also, a dishwasher, a fridge with ice maker, and a dryer are included. The center bedroom has an iron and ironing board for your use.

Down by the boat dock we have placed a picnic table. This is a great place to have a picnic lunch and watch the kids swim or fish from the boat dock. The use of the boat dock is included in your rent.

Rental Policies

Our rates are based on a 2 person occupancy and the nightly rate decreases as the number of nights increase. As the number of occupants increase, we adjust the rate upward. Children under two do
not count in the number of occupants.
High Season rates (May through September) 105 and up depending on # of occupants AND number of nights rented.
Low Season rates (October through April) $70 and up depending on # of occupants AND number of nights rented.
Cleaning Fee ranges from $50 to $80 depending on occupancy.
Reservation deposit is equal to 1 nights rent. Balance due 3 weeks before occupancy.
Cancellation allowed up to 45 days before occupancy with only a $25.00 service fee. After 45 days, no refund is given.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Our rates are based on number of occupants and number of nights rented. As nights go up, rate per night goes down. As occupants go up, rate per night goes up.
These rates are for 2 occupants.
May through September (High Season) $140 - $165 based on number of nights and number of Occupants.
October through April (Low Season) $90 - $115 based on number of nights and number of Occupants.
2 night minimum; Paypal accepted (can pay with credit card there)
Rates subject to taxes.
Cleaning fee is $50 to $70 depending on number of occupants.
Children under 2 do not count in number of occupants.
$200 Security Deposit required to reserve & full payment of rental required
21 days before arrival for release of keys.
