MauiGold is a fully-furnished, second-story, corner-condo vacation rental that sits closer to the beach than any other unit in West Maui. The lanai is a nearly 24’ wide (as are the living and dining room out looking windows) – not like many narrow single units like most rentals found here – and is big enough (180 degrees) to take in the spectacular sunsets that range from Lanai to the island of Molokai. The ocean is just a few steps away making swimming, snorkeling, surfing, sailing and sunning the ultimate convenience. There is an un-obstructive view both up and down the golden sandy beach, north and south, and the night it feels as though the ocean is under your doorstep (while safely on the second level). Look for sea turtles, dolphins and whales to swim by as the sun slowly sets colorfully into the Pacific Ocean. MauiGold is a multi-million dollar view that is unmatchable.

MauiGold is perhaps the best 2-bedroom to be found in West Maui. It is located at the Maui Sands complex which offers a heated swimming pool, barbeque area, beautiful gardens and an ice-machine! The unit has been recently refurbished and features new furniture, linens, beds, elegant kitchenware and modern appliances such as air conditioning. New carpeting and lanai furniture make this condo very clean, open, breezy and comfortable. There is a VCR player in the living room and TV in the master bedroom suite.

Shops and restaurants are just a short walk while Kaanapali Beach, Whaler Village and Lahaina are just 5 minutes by car. Honolua Bay is only 10-minutes away and the Mercedes Open and Plantation world-class golf courses are just around the corner.

Rental Policies

Check-out time is 10:00 AM. No late check-outs are permitted if someone is checking in on your day of departure. A $200/hour charge will be applied for any late check-out that occurs. If the unit is not booked on your departure day you may schedule a late check-out of 12:00 PM by confirming with the management in advance. Upon vacating the premises, guests agree to leave the vacation home in the same clean condition in which it was found.

Listed below are the check out procedures that guest must follow:

* Remove all trash and recycling from home and place in appropriate bins.
* Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and clear counter-tops.
* All furniture must be put back in place.
* Close all curtains and shades and lock all doors and turn off heating/cooling.
* Clean up any messes, spills that may have occurred.
* Pickup-after yourself. CHECK FOR ANY PERSONAL ITEMS.
* Strip all beds. Leave all lines in a pile.
* Please leave keys to lock-box on front door or leave on telephone desk just inside front door.

Arrival Times

Check-in can take place anytime after 2:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. Keys can be obtained from the owners by mail or through special arrangement by a local property manager (this will be pre-arranged prior to your arrival).
