Hale Kawika [pronounced HAH-leh kah-VEE-kah] means "David's House" in Hawaiian.

Waikiki Landmark is located on the Ala Wai Canal at the intersection of Ala Wai Boulevard, McCully, and Kalakaua Avenue. It's a short walk to many of the best venues at the west end of Waikiki.

The Waikiki Landmark has sophisticated, state-of-the-art life safety and security systems which are monitored 24 hours a day by an on-site professional security staff. Building access is restricted to authorized persons only. Security cameras are located throughout the premises. The private parking garage includes assigned spaces for each unit, plus ample guest parking.

The Waikiki Landmark is one of Hawaii's premier luxury residential high-rises. Completed in 1992, until recently it was the newest high-rise condominium in Waikiki. It's unique architectural design lives up to its name. Twin towers faced with granite and glass soar 33 stories above Waikiki, bridged at the top by five levels of penthouse apartments, homes to the rich and famous.

For serious swimmers, there is a lap pool as well as an expansive free-form pool connected by a gracious waterfall. There are two relaxing spas, one for adults and one for children. A large shallow children's pool completes the water features. The spacious sun deck is furnished with chaise lounge chairs. The large living room and dining area has gorgeous hardwood floors, a wall of large tinted winows and access to two lanais. Ocean views can be enjoyed from nearly everywhere. A large leather sofa and matching arm chair provides comfortable seating as you enjoy DVD movies or HD cable content on the wide-screen 42 inch HDTV with 6 speaker Dolby Digital Surround Sound. The included Digital Cable offers a huge selection of television channels, music channels, and movies on demand, as well as most local radio stations. You may also rent DVD movies from nearby stores and play your own CD collection on the 5-CD changer.

The unit has two separate bedroom suites with full baths on opposite sides of the central living area, offering complete privacy. It's ideal for two couples or for occasional guests. Each bedroom suite has ocean views, access to the lanai, and a TV with DVD player.

The master bedroom suite is furnished with a queen size bed and plenty of storage. A huge mirrored closet extends into the luxurious master bath, which is finished in marble. The bath contains an over-sized whirlpool tub, separate stall shower, dual lavatories with plenty of storage, and a separate room with toilet and bidet.

The spacious and efficient kitchen has granite floors and countertops and features a convenient pass-through to the lanai. A bay window offers sweeping views even from the kitchen! Completely equipped with beautiful fine china, stainless, glassware, and barware, as well as non-stick aluminum and glass-ceramic cookware and a full cutlery set, you will find everything you need when you "eat in." Small appliances by Cuisinart and Oster include automatic grind and brew programmable coffee maker, toaster-broiler oven, toaster, blender, hand mixer, and rice cooker.

The high-performance Pentium 4 computer with Windows XP operating system has an 80GB drive, DVD drive, CD-RW drive, flat-panel monitor, speakers, and ports for most media formats for digital cameras. This system provides the computing capabilities you expect in today's high-tech life-style. A color printer and scanner is also part of the system. Bring your laptop and access the included high-speed Internet connecton through the wireless router either with an Ethernet cable or wirelessly. An e-mail address and an incoming fax number are available. Faxes may be sent and received using the computer and scanner.
