Visit nearby harbor for fishing and boating or comb the dozens of antiques stores for a treasure or two to commemorate your visit. Wells has many fine restaurants to choose from, and visitors can find anything from fresh seafood and fine steak dinners, to casual clambake or lobster dining, to homemade ice cream treats. Enjoy the classic New England charms of sun, fun, shopping or feasting. Wells Beach is centrally located between the quaint Maine villages of Kennebunkport and Ogunquit and it's a short trip to the shopping outlet towns of Kittery and Freeport (L.L. Bean). It's the perfect location for a family vacation and experiencing all that the southern coast of Maine has to offer.
