Casa Picaflores is a combination vacation home for rent / bed and breakfast, nestled in six acres of lush rainforest on the quiet side of El Yunque. This special location is only one hour from San Juan and minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Right on our property, you can hike rainforest trails, pick organic, tropical fruits, read in a hammock, sunbathe on the patio, cool off in a mountain stream, dine under the stars, and search for buried treasure. Take the rain forest tour with local guide Robin Phillips, then unwind with an hour-long massage in our jungle spa area. Finish off this memorable day with a candlelit gourmet meal in our private, semi-openair dining room, El Bohio, complete with honor bar and music. Awake in the morning with a full, hot breakfast, complete with coffee and juice, organic, exotic fruits from our farm, all served at the hour of your choosing on the terrace adjoining the guest house.
The unique location of Casa Picaflores lets you get away from it all and still be close to it all. We are a short drive from several lovely beaches, skydiving, hang-gliding, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, horseback riding, a nature preserve, a casino, a bio-luminescent lagoon and ferries to the islands of Vieques and Culebra. The romance and history of Old San Juan are a little over an hour away.

Rental Policy
$200 damage deposit required during your visit, in the form of a personal check which we hold until you check-out. We perform a walk-through of the house, then return the check to you, provided that everything is in order. Guests are expected to return the house to the condition it was in upon their arrival (not swept and mopped, but dishes clean and put away, furniture in the right place, no crayon drawings on the paintings, etc).
Arrival Times
Check-in time is 3 p.m.; call in advance if you'd like to come earlier; it's sometimes acceptable. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Additional Rate and Deposit Information
Regular rate: $175/night + 7% room tax
Couples rate (2 adults, 2 BR/1BA):
$25/night off prevailing rate
50% Deposit to hold reservation
Offseason - No minimum stay
High Season (Nov-April) 2-night minimum
