Unit 2 Lockout is the second floor of a townhouse and is a one bedroom, one bath unit of approximately 900 square feet. This unit is accessed by staircases from the front and rear. This unit features a second floor deck equipped with a gas grill and patio furniture overlooking the canal and Destin Harbor. A south-facing balcony on the front of the unit is a great place to watch those special sunsets.
Both Unit 2 and Unit 2 Lockout are equipped with bed linens, towels, full kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, range, coffee-maker, dishes, silverware, pots/pans), washer/dryer, vacuum cleaner and pet cleanup supplies. Unit 2 has a king sized bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a sleeper chair providing sleeping comfort for five. Unit 2 Lockout has a king sized bed, a queen sleeper sofa and a large wrap-around sofa, providing sleeping comfort for five. Both Unit 2 and Unit 2 Lockout are equipped with two televisions featuring cable programming, VHS tape, and DVD. Free wireless internet is provided for properly equipped laptop computers. Both Unit 2 and Unit 2 Lockout share a huge private parking area (16x90 feet) for your vehicles and trailers.
Forget the drudgery of launching your water toys every morning and reloading them onto the trailers every evening because you have no place to keep them. Your playthings (up to fifty feet long and with a maximum fifteen foot beam) will be safe and within your view in your own private boat dock for a nominal charge. The walkway on the slip is thirty two feet long. The slip itself is fifty feet long, fifteen feet wide and measures three feet deep near the seawall and over six feet deep at the canal end. The bottom is soft sand with scattered shell on the top surface. Tidal lift and fall average less than one foot. The slip offers 240 volt power, 120 volt power and water hookups. Swimming and fishing in our canal is great. Pinfish, catfish, snapper and the occasional flounder can be caught right off the end of your own private slip.
Sand Dollar Townhouse is equipped with all the comforts of home. Fishing, swimming, boating and private dockage are out the back door, and the Gulf beaches are a ten minute walk out the front door. Want more? Major supermarkets, drug stores, restaurants, and boating specialty shops are located within two miles. Sand Dollar Townhouse Rental Fees
(Plus 10% Florida tax)
This unit is designated Unit 2 Lockout (upper). The boat slip is equipped with water and 240 volt/120 volt electricity and is rented separately. All rental unit and slip utilities are included. Rentals for less than 7 days will incur a one-time cleaning fee of $90. Rental rates for the unit and the slip are as follows:
Winter-Last Monday in October until the Last Monday in February
Unit 2 Lockout $1200 per month, $530 per week or $88 per day (3 day minimum stay)
Slip $430 per month, $135 per week or $22 per day
Spring-Last Monday in February until the Last Monday in May
Unit 2 Lockout $1060 per week, or $165 per day (3 day minimum stay)
Slip $215 per week or $39 per day
Summer-Last Monday in May until the First Monday in September
Unit 2 Lockout $1200 per week, or $195 per day (3 day minimum stay)
