This cabin is located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina in McDowell County. It is located in the log home community of Hidden Lake, which sits 10 miles south of Marion, NC and is a 15 minute drive to Lake James State Park.

Property Details

This well appointed home offers mountain views from the large windows in the 2nd floor loft area. It is a 2-level home, with a bedroom and full bath on each floor.

The master bedroom is located on the 2nd level and is accessed by french doors. It features a beautiful queen size bed, chest of drawers, and nightstands with table lamps. The bath features a large custom tiled walk-in-shower, toilet and single vanity sink. Ample towels are provided for your use. The french doors open out to the ample loft area with mountain views in the distance. Here sits a wonderful writing desk and chair to record your mountain memories. There are also 2 air mattresses, in case you need to sleep additional guests.

On the main level of the home you will find leather furnishings in the living room, complete with a gas fireplace and television (DirecTV). Adjacent is the dining area with seating for 6, which opens into the spacious kitchen that has the following full size appliances: refridgerator with ice/water on the door, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all cookware and dishes that you may need during your stay.

The guest bedroom on this level has a full size bed and chest of drawers. The bath has a tub/shower combination with toilet and single vanity sink. The laundry area is just off the kitchen a has a full size washer and dryer with detergent provided for your use.

You may also enjoy relaxing on the covered front porch in the rocking chairs provided. This wraps around to the open side deck, which also has access from the dining area.

Guests also have full use of all common areas within the community to include: lakeside boardwalk and dock, inground pool/spa, poolhouse with bathroom facilities, picnic areas, grills, streamside park, and walking trails. Local area information, maps and attractions are provided in the home for you.

Rental Policies

$100 advance security deposit will be refunded by mail after departure and upon satisfactory inspection of the home. NO PETS/NO SMOKING/NO ATV's/NO large boats in the lake - only canoes, kayaks or paddle boats.

Arrival Times

No required arrival time. Guests will give estimated time of arrival when making reservations.

Rental Rates

$1,085.00 to $1,085.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Nightly rate of $155 plus tax with a required 2 night minimum stay. Payment by personal check or cash only. $100 advance security deposit required. One-time cleaning fee of $65 applies. Balance due in full upon arrival. Rates subject to change without notice.
