Property Description

This is a great home for those with children! This "kid-friendly" log cabin will make everyone feel at home. It is located within the gated mountain community of Hidden Lake. 15 minutes to Lake James State Park in McDowell County, NC

Property Details

The home is decorated with a log cabin theme in mind. It is 2 levels and sleeps up to 8 plus an infant. There is a large play gym in the side yard, along with outdoor seating, a hammock, and a picnic table and grill out on the back deck. The front porch is very cozy with twig furniture and cushions, perfect for enjoying the wooded surroundings.

The main level features the living room (with TV) and adjoining dining area (seats 6) which opens into the full size kitchen. There is a laundry area with a full size washer and dryer. The guest bedroom with queen size bed and guest bath with a single vanity sink, toilet and tub/shower combination, are also on this level of the cabin.

The master bedroom with king size bed (and crib if needed), plus an armchair with ottoman is on the 2nd level of the cabin. The master bath also has a single vanity sink, toilet, and tub/shower combination. The loft area has adorable twin beds with a cabin-look, and each has a trundle pullout bed underneath. The loft is an open area that overlooks the living room below.

The home is fully equipped with all linens, towels, kitchen items and everything needed to enjoy your stay. If you have children, the cabin also has 3 highchairs, a baby walker,rocking horse, and toys for the kids to use and enjoy during their stay!

Guests also have full use of all common areas within the community to include: lakeside boardwalk and dock, inground pool/spa, poolhouse with bathroom facilities, picnic areas, grills, streamside park, and walking trails. Local area information and attractions are provided in the home.

Rental Policies

$100 advance security deposit required and will be refunded by mail after departure and upon satisfactory inspection of the home. NO PETS (however the owners dog has been at the house should anyone be allergic) NO SMOKING/NO ATV'S/NO large boats in the lake - only canoes, kayaks or paddle boats.

Arrival Times

No required arrival time. Guests will give estimated time of arrival when making reservations.

Rental Rates

$700.00 to $770.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

May-Oct $110/nt plus tax - 2nt minimum. Nov-Apr $100/nt plus tax - 2nt minimum. Weekly rate if staying 7nts or more. Holidays higher. Payment by personal check or cash only. $100 advance security deposit required. One-time cleaning fee of $65 applies. Balance due in full upon arrival. Rates subject to change without notice.
