We are centrally located, an excellent base for visiting the world’s most active volcano, lovely botanical gardens, thermal hot pools, black sand beaches, tropical rainforests, spectacular waterfalls and much, much more.

Five comfortable, one bedroom and studio size, family style cottages, a beautiful, forty foot, lagoon pool...a private regulation tennis court ... a picturesque gazebo..and a mini playground, all on our five acre estate, are available for your family’s use. The cottages, which sleep from two to five, are set amidst large lawns, graceful palms and an assortment of fruit trees. Each has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TV/VCR/DVD player, private phone, ceiling fans and a full bath. All linen is provided. Most have private lanai. Barbeques are available.
Children love us and are very welcome (We run a homeschooling program September to May)..... Sorry,pets are not. However, we are happy to share our large assortment of animals with you. Our favorite garbage disposal is our very large (800lbs+) pet pig, Little Sweetie.
Our family, long time residents living on site, will be very happy to point you in exciting directions.
It is just minutes to picturesque lava cliffs perfect for whale watching and turtle sightings, to little known hiking trails, or to the historic village of Pahoa with its quaint shops and choice of ethnic restaurants.

Rental Rates

$420.00 to $590.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Our rates are especially reasonable because we are not in a touristy area. Cottages range from $70 to $95 per night (plus tax) depending on the number of guests. We do have weekly and monthly rates, as well, and a 10% Senior Discount. A 20% deposit will secure a reservation. We are happy to accept visa or mastercard.
There is a three night minimum.
