Cottages on Metcalf Pond, Near Smugglers Notch

Two cottages on a small scenic lake. One is three-season, the other year-around. The year-around cottage is popular with skiers, as it is near to Smugglers Notch ski area. The lake is good for swimming and fishing. We supply a canoe and rowboat.

Property Details

Cottages in the town of Fletcher, one of the most scenic parts of Vermont. Great place to swim and fish in summer, ski at a world-class ski area in winter, or just get away and relax any time of year. Centrally located, it can serve as home base to visit attractions throughout Vermont.

Cottages are fully furnished, with all sheets and towels, dishes, even some food for breakfasts stocked in the refrigerator, so there's no need to bring a lot of supplies with you. Each has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, and clothes washer and dryer.

The cottages share lake frontage and use of a canoe, rowboat, and small sailboat. The larger, year-around cottage has several extras, including a hot tub, piano, children's play equipment in the large yard, fireplace in enclosed porch, etc.

Each cottage has two full bedrooms with additional sleping areas, to accommodate up to 6 people. Each has a deck, with charcoal grill. Also, the shared swimming area has a firepit, picnic table, and porch-type swing.

Rental Policy

Guests with pets are responsible for any damage, and must keep pets under control at all times.

Arrival Times

Check-in any time after 3 p.m. Check-out up unti 11 a.m.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

We prefer weekly rentals, but we take shorter-term rentals (minimum 2 days) in winter and non-peak times of year. Vermont rooms tax is added. $100 deposit secures reservation. We take all major credit cards.
