Come discover El Retoño, an oasis of plants and wild life, located near the center of Coatepec. This Colonial town of about 60,000 is located just 20 minutes from bustling Jalapa in the Mexican State of Veracruz.

Our goal is to offer a peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and totally environmentally-friendly refuge from which our guests can explore this rich area.

We offer a large master suite, 4 junior suites and one single cabin. We can accommodate groups up to 16 people.

The lodge offers a library with its cozy fireplace, wireless internet connection, dining/game room, an outdoor covered patio and a sauna/massage room. In addition, a full breakfast is included and the kitchen is available at certain hours for guest use.

While many of the activities that draw folks to this area are outdoor ones, we also offer workshops such as paper making, weaving, cooking, lectures on the local flora and fauna and relaxing massages. These activities are designed to round out your
Veracruz experience.

Price is for two people and includes a full breakfast.

Jr suites $65
Single cabin, $65

$30 extra per person.
