La Cencerrita.
The old almond farm of Finca Cencerrita is situated 400 m high with amazing views across the Guadalhorce Valley, equidistant from Cartama Estacion, Pizarra and Álora, is just 55 minutes from Malaga Airport and the Costal del Sol. However, you are well away from the craziness of the coast up here – even the nearest village is 20-30 minutes by car!

Relax and feel the quiet tranquillity of the mountains seep into your soul. Sit in the warm Spanish sunshine and just CHILL! It must be said that here is no place for the avid sightseer, the restless fidget or the impatient night clubber. An idyllic mountain holiday retreat - the perfect place to just relax and unwind: read a book, be with your loved one, just infuse your soul with peace and relaxation. Let the laid-back mañana temperament of the Andalucians take hold of you and recharge yourself with a very special type of holiday. A paradise for walkers, birdwatchers, painters and anyone else who wants to be far from the madding crowd - the skies are an astronomers joy!
Sunset is an important time of day at Finca Cencerrita. Everything stops to see what the sky will provide that night. It is true that sometimes the sun just slips away in a golden hue, but generally the sunsets are at least pretty and often splendid

Malaga (50 mins by car)
El Chorro, the lakes and the infamous suspended footpath known as El Camino del Rey (King's Path ) There are a some lovely places to eat - or just have a drink whilst soaking in the view. (1 hour by car)
Ronda -perched nearly 800 m on a cliff edge - 1½ hours by car.
Nerja - Famed for its fabulous caves about 1½ by car.
Granada (the Alhambra) - is about 2 hours by car

Arrival Times

Please do not arrive before 16:00 and the house must be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure. Obviously if we have no other guests on arriving/departing on that day, we happy to be flexible

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

A 25% deposit secures your holiday, with the remainder payable 6 weeks before the arrival date. Payment can be made either by PayPal’s credit card scheme or by bank transfer. When we receive the deposit, we will send a confirmation booking form and other information.

A refundable damage deposit of €100 is payable on arrival. This will be returned in full, assuming all is as you found it in the house. If you prefer not to clean the house on your departure, we offer this as a service for 25 euros
