Rent a true island home in an unspoiled paradise. We've turned our 2 bedroom island home an exotic getaway in British Colonial fashion, furnished with oriental rugs, imported wicker and rattan furniture, dark hardwoods and artwork we've purchased on our trips around the world. Our half-duplex home is a place unlike any other. We've recently remodeled and updated this home to feature a unique two-suite layout that can convert into three bedrooms - absolutely idea for two couples sharing or for families on holiday. Sleep under the romantic mosquito canopy in our Africa suite, bathe in our Paris-themed bathroom or check email using our high-speed wireless network in the "Hemingway" office.

Our house has been tastefully updated to accommodate the communal nature of being on holiday. One of us is a chef, so the recently revamped kitchen is especially well equipped, with a communal kitchen island and unique bamboo countertops.

The Africa suite's second room can convert to a third bedroom, or a playroom or just an extra hanging out space for watching TV or DVDs on the new 27-inch TV. You'll be surrounded by other homes, not condos or hotels on the north end of lovely Anna Maria Island, a favorite Florida favorite getaway of private homes, pure white sugary-sandy beaches, sea turtles, and slow island life. We have beach toys, towels and even fishing poles to let you simply slow down, and enjoy the sun and waves. We are fully set up for children; we have a high chair, fold-up crib, stroller, kids videos and more, so please inquire.

The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico are just a short walk (300 yards/meters) to the west while the watery playground of the inland waterway is just 100 yards/meters to the East. There's a private boat dock for your use a short distance away. Major attractions, including Disney World and Orlando theme parks, are within 2 1/2 hours drive.

Rental Policies

Smoking areas are set up outside the house. Due to owner allergies, we regret we can't accommodate pets.

Arrival Times

Check in is 4 p.m. date of arrival, check out is 11 a.m. date of departure. A wonderful local manager is only four blocks away, managing only this property. Arrival date is flexible.

Rental Rates

$835.00 to $985.00 per week
$2,350.00 to $3,250.00 per month

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

See our site for a virtual tour with lots of photos, plus more detailed rates and availability calendar. Minimum rental is 14 days, shorter stays considered in summer, autumn or as late bookings. Weekly bookings may be subjected to a higher rate. Please inquire.

Rates include local sales taxes. We require an $80 cleaning fee, deposit required (dependent on length of stay). All utilities included. Twin Palms is attached to Twin Palms Cottage. Both can be rented together to accommodate a group of 10 people. A 5% discount applies when renting both together. All rentals subject to local tax (4% resort tax, 6.5% sales tax). Check-in is 4 p.m. day of arrival and check-out is 11 a.m. day of departure unless otherwise arranged in advance.
