Welcome to the 1850 House of Mystic built by Resolved Irons a Mystic Shipbuilder. This home, on the National Register of Historic places is in the heart of Mystic only a few blocks from the Mystic Seaport, and downtown Mystic.
The house has a special mix of historic rooms along with modern kitchen and bathrooms. There are four bedrooms including a Master Bedroom with four poster queen bed, the ‘Dorm” room with two twin beds, the Blue bedroom with queen bed and the TV/computer room
including cable internet connection, with a queen sleeper sofa.
Linens and towels are included. The upstairs bath is newly renovated with a Jacuzzi tub.
The kitchen is new and geared for vacationers who want the convenience of a modern kitchen but don’t go on vacation to cook with a new electric range, refrigerator/icemaker and dishwasher.
There is a new laundry on the first floor along with a new second bath. The living spaces downstairs are charming, comfortable and reflect the historic beauty of their woodwork around the windows.
The dining room is formal and the living room is spacious with a lovely fireplace. Adjacent to the front hallway is the library – a special space to relax and read or enjoy a board game on a rainy
day.
