The Duck Inn offers two private self contained cottages … The Water Garden and Willow Cottage.
Both perch on pilings at the edge of the Fraser River in Ladner, a historic fishing village just half an hour south of Vancouver and twenty minutes from the U.S. border.
The Water Garden. at river level, has a large living /dining/kitchen area, a gas fireplace, TV-VCR-DVD-CD-Stereo, a king-sized feather bed ,a slate and glass block rainwater shower.........it’s main feature is a large roofed and partially enclosed riverfront verandah with a deep 2 person soaker tub, barbecue and little duck pond.
Willow Cottage, up the ivy covered staircase, has a sunny balcony with wonderful water and mountain views. A wood burning fireplace, TV-VCR-DVD-CD-Stereo, king-sized feather bed, a slate and glass block rainwater shower and full kitchen are some of its’ many amenities. The River Roost, a cozy twin bedroom and half bath, adjoining the main bedroom can be rented for children or other extra guests Willow Cottage guests have their barbecue under the riverside weeping willow, and the hot tub in our floating Florida Room is reserved for them.
All our guests are welcome to relax on our dock, explore the river in the canoe, bike the back roads of the delta, and laze in hammocks in our waterfront garden
