Walk the granite ledges along the shore, explore the tidal pools, sunbathe on your own private shoreline, and even take a dip in the refreshing Atlantic Ocean! Enjoy the flora and fauna of both the woods and ocean, where nature and wildlife abound (watch for moose, deer, fox, seals, and eagles)! The property has been designated as an Essential Habitat for Nesting Bald Eagles.

It's located on a private road, in a community that features a private 12-acre nature park, with a 2-mile walking path (great for your morning jog or afternoon walk). It’s just a 13-minute drive to the center of Bar Harbor—where you’ll find great seafood, restaurants and shopping—and a 10-minute drive to the entrance to Acadia National Park, Maine’s most beautiful vacation destination. The cottage features a living room, dining room, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), 2 bathrooms. The entire 2nd floor is the large master bedroom and bath, and has a balcony overlooking the ocean view and skylights. The first floor features a large wooden deck facing the ocean. Amenities include cable TV, DVD, VCR, stereo, computer with high speed internet access, large bathtub (master bath), king bed in master bedroom, deck furniture, barbeque grill, as well as many of the usual comforts of home!

This cottage is truly a beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful retreat, situated in one of the most popular vacation destinations in the country.

May/October: $1800/week; June: $2500/week; July: $3200/week; August: $3500/week; Sept.: $2000/week.
