Hideaway Palms has something for everyone! You simply can't go wrong when you choose to stay in this vacation home! The property is located in Jamaica Beach, 10 miles west of the Seawall on Galveston Island.
The house has an open floor plan, that is bright and comfortable. There are three bedrooms and two baths, with sleeping accommodations for ten. One bedroom and full bath is downstairs with its own private entrance.
In doors, there are three cable TVs, a stereo, DVD and VHS player, and wireless high speed internet access.
You will find that it's hard to remain inside when you stay at this wonderful canal home. There are many features that will keep you and your guests entertained, including a private pool and hot tub, a boat slip, barbecue facilities, and a large yard that spans two lots. Enjoy your meals on the deck where you will find wonderful views of the bay and wetlands.
There is a public playground and beach within walking distance, and just ten minutes away are some of Galveston's most favorable tourist attractions, including Moody Gardens, the Schlitterbahn, the Seawall, the Strand, and more.
At night, underwater fishing lights help you to enjoy the outdoors through the evening. And the sunsets ...
Rental agreement must be signed by an adult, age 25 or older, who will be an occupant during the entire reserved period. All other occupants must be family members, friends, or responsible adults. No keys will be issued to anyone who is not an adult, age 25 or older. All tenants must agree that they intend to use the property solely for their own use and the use of their guests who will be residing on the property. All tenants must also agree to treat the property responsibly and with property care.
We do not accept prom groups, school or graduation groups, fraternities or sororities, or youth groups, with or without adult supervision.
The total number of occupants shall not exceed 10 people without the express written permission of the owner prior to tenant's arrival.
There must be one adult age 25 or older on the property for every three guests under age 25 at all times.
The property is equipped and set up as a fully furnished property that will include bedspreads, blankets, and pillows, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
Smoking
This is a NON-SMOKING home. Smoking is not allowed INSIDE.
Pets
We are no longer writing contracts for rentals that include pets, other than working dogs.
Security Deposit
A Security Deposit of $500 is required for all vacation rentals. Monthly rentals require a $1000 security deposit. Your security deposit is fully refundable within 30 days of termination of occupancy provided that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy commenced and all terms of this agreement are met. Tenant is liable for all replacements and repairs that are outside what is considered normal wear and tear. Security Deposits must be paid by credit card.
Additional Taxes and Fees
Required Cleaning Fee
There is a mandatory $150 cleaning fee.
Optional Linen Service
We offer an optional linen service for $85 per stay. This includes all bed linens, bath linens, kitchen towels and hot pads, and laundering of these items upon your departure.
Processing Fee
There is a mandatory $50 processing fee.
Hotel Occupancy Tax
There is a 15% hotel occupancy tax in Jamaica Beach for all rentals under 30 days.
Refund Policy
We do not give refunds for rainy days, overcast skies, hurricanes, or mandatory evacuations. You may purchase travel insurance if you wish.
We do not give refunds for power, cable, or telephone outages, though we will be happy to report outages for you.
We make every effort to provide fully functional and maintained mechanical systems and appliance. Our policy is not to refund or adjust rates for mechanical or appliance failures, but to respond quickly when notified of a problem or concern in an attempt to avoid any inconvenience.
Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be in writing and received more than 60 days prior to your check in date, and we will refund the sums you have paid less a $250 cancellation fee. If your notice of cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to your check in date, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else at the same rate for the same period. If the property is rented, we will only charge the $250 cancellation fee. Refunds due to cancellation will be issued 30 days after cancellation is received in writing.
Check In
Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Early check in times are allowed only when the property is cleaned and ready for occupancy. Prior approval is required. Keys will be ready for pickup at the property location. Keys WILL NOT be issued with a balance owing or without a signed rental agreement in the owners, or owner's representatives, possession.
Check Out
Check out time is 11:00 a.m. There is an extra charge for late check out and prior approval is required. Please leave all keys and remote controls at the location. A $50 hourly fee will be charged for each hour (or portion thereof) past the required check out time. A $50 per item fee will be charged for each lost key and remote control not returned.
