With lodging for 8, the Mountain View Chalet is minutes from the Olympic
attractions. There is alpine skiing, xc skiing, wilderness skiing, ice
skating, sledding, tobogganing, hiking, climbing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing,
sailing and motor boating. After a day of adventure, unwind in a warm 5
person hot tub and sit by an inviting fireplace. Use the on-site gym/exercise
facility to burn off those extra calories. The location and convenience of
this home are an ideal setting for a family vacation. The basement recreation
room includes a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey, table shuffleboard, and
fooseball. Full laundry facilities are available. Enjoy mountain views from this
secluded home on 10 wooded acres, only minutes from Lake Placid village. This
bright and airy three bedroom, three bath home is spacious and comfortable.
The house has open-beamed ceilings, upstairs loft which includes the master
bedroom, master bathroom, and sitting area with a Steinway grand piano and views
of the high peaks. The master bedroom has a window seat, and king size bed
with Adirondack furnishings purchased from
local craftsmen. The master bathroom contains a two person Jacuzzi tub, two
person shower (with 8 shower heads!) and vanities.

Rental Policy

$500 security deposit, $150 housekeeping fee, all taxes included, no fuel surcharges

Check-in 4 PM Check-out 10 AM

Seasonal Rates:

Summer 2013: June 1 – Sept 8 $2700 per week Sat-to-Sat rentals


Autumn 2013: Sept 9 – Dec 20 $2310 per week/ $385 per night 4 night minimum


Holiday 2013: Dec 21 – Jan 5 $3200 per week/$533 per night 4 night minimum

Winter 2014: Jan 6 – Mar 31 $2500 per week Sat-to-Sat rentals
