La Haille Gites is registered with the Gers Tourism Board - 3 étoiles.
Situated 4km from the village of Simorre with amenities such as two bakers, butchers, mini market, pharmacy, post office and petrol station, we are also within easy reach of the Pyrénées mountains, Spain and tax free shopping in Andorra.
'Sunnycroft' is a South facing bungalow gite with two separate bedrooms ideal for a family of four or for those who have difficulty with stairs.
The gite opens onto the open plan lounge equipped with sofa, books, radio, French television, English satellite television and DVD/CD player with the kitchen/diner area. This is equipped with fridge/freezer, a microwave, a gas oven, gas kettle, electric coffee machine, cutlery, crockery and pans etc.
The back bedroom is furnished with two single bunk beds and the master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath/shower.
'Picardie' a 'tourelle', (little tower), is a three storey South facing gite ideal for a couple, two or three people if the lounge is used as a second bedroom.
The ground floor comprises of a hall leading to the large and airy kitchen, which is equipped with fridge/freezer, a microwave, a gas oven, gas kettle, electric coffee machine, cutlery, crockery and pans etc. The bathroom is also situated on the ground floor and has a bath/shower.
The lounge is on the first floor, complete with two easy chairs and a sofa for your comfort and also books, radio/cassette/CD player, French television, English satellite television and video player.
The bedroom is on the top floor with a double bed, a ceiling fan and stunning views of the Pyrénées mountains. This is also a good vantage point from which to watch the varied and abundant wildlife.
'Le Castelet' a renovated 'pigeonnier', (dovecot), is a South and East facing three storey gite with a private balcony and air-conditioning. Ideal mainly for a couple but may also be suitable for two people if they do not mind sharing the same bedroom and using the sofa as a second bed.
The ground floor comprises of a hall leading to a separate toilet and a bathroom with bath/shower.
The kitchen is on the first floor which is equipped with fridge/freezer, a microwave, a toaster, two electric cooking rings, electric kettle, cutlery, crockery and pans etc.
This opens out onto the large balcony with a gas barbecue, table and chairs overlooking the beautiful countryside.
The top floor comprises of a mezzanine raised double bed with a sofa bed, French television and DVD/CD player along with books and a radio. There is also the added comfort of air conditioning.
All three of our gites are fully centrally heated for Winter lets and have fans for Summer lets.
There is also the use of two separate barbecue areas, floodlit swimming pool with solar shower, laundry room, games room, bicycle hire and mountainboard hire and wireless ADSL internet access.
Facilities also for camping and caravans.
Owners are both qualified Initiateurs, licenced with the FFCT and are always more than happy to accompany or guide you on your outing whatever your cycling experience may be. This department is one of the least populated in France and with immediate access from the house, we can show you literally 100's of kilometres of tracks and trails tucked away in the beautiful countryside, to suit all abilities.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Prices are per week, high season Saturday to Saturday only. Out of season flexible start, finish and duration of stay.
Minimum stay, three nights.
