WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: You're welcome to use anything on the premises, spices, tea, coffee, etc. Plan on packing your personal tolietry items & beach towels, our linens are not allowed off premises. Since we provide only a limited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, & other dispensable items to get you started on your first day of vacation, you should plan on making a trip to the grocery store to replenish these items as you need them. There is a Food Market within walking distance @ Seabright Ave & Murray St; Safeway is located approximately 1 mile away on Soquel Drive near Seabright Avenue.

CHILDREN: ARE TO BE SUPERVISED BY ADULTS AT ALL TIMES. Because the house’s main living area is on the 2nd floor, parents need to know that the glass on the Bay Window Seat is not tempered, only dual glazed; The 3rd floor loft spiral staircase railings are widely spaced @ 7.5" apart, and the 2nd story deck has 8.5" spacing in the deck rail, where a small child can crawl between and fall. For **SAFETY** reasons this house MAY NOT BE the most appropriate place for your vacation if you have young or rambuctious children. Please be advised that you are making the reservation with this knowledge, and are agreeing to hold the Owner harmless without liability.

To open Child Proof cabinet locks underneath all sinks, press down on the top wide tab area.

CHECK IN TIME: 3:30 p.m. Please email us with your contact phone number @ santacruzseaangel@sbcglobal.net or call us at 408-258-0413, 206-7828, or 316-7828 the morning of your arrival date to obtain the Entry Information.

CHECK OUT TIME: 10:30 a.m. Please leave the garage door remote, & the 5 TV/DVD remotes on the kitchen counter.

To minimize cracking of the leather couches, & fading of interior fabrics & wall art, please remember to turn off all lights, Oven Range, & Heater, along with lowering/closing all mini blinds, (you can use lower left bottom sliding lock on Deck glass door to lock it securely while partially opened for ventilation) before leaving the beach house for any period over 1 hour; additionally, at final departure, please lock all windows & doors.

GARBAGE: DO NOT PUT FOOD SCRAPS INTO TRASH COMPACTOR, IT WILL SMELL BAD & MAY ATTRACT ANTS***USE KITCHEN PANTRY CLOSET GARBAGE & RECYCLING CANS FOR MOST TRASH*** Please empty all trash cans into the brown garbage bin or blue receycling bin before vacating the premises. The blue recycling bin is for glass, paper, & plastic only.

***SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING GUESTS are required to leave out and retrieve these bins, as there is a city ordinance prohibiting garbage bins being left out past the pickup days***

SUNDAY night Guests please place the #122 brown garbage bin at the base of the driveway, as the garbage company requires 3' clearance on each side of the bin for pick-up.
MONDAY morning Guests please return empty #122 brown garbage bin to the front of the garage.
MONDAY night Guests please place the #122 blue recycling bin at the base of the driveway, as the garbage company requires 3' clearance on each side of the bin for pick-up.
TUESDAY morning Guests please return empty #122 blue recycling bin to front of garage.

IMPORTANT: NO PETS, NO SMOKING, No Incense or Candle Burning, No Nail Polish, No Hair Dye, & No Permanent Markers permitted on the premises, as these can cause irreversible damage. No Tape or Stickers permitted on any surfaces. No Parking allowed on the Driveway, & the Garage Door is to remain closed at all times. As this is a residential area, music and voices must be kept to a moderate level in consideration of neighbors.

The Rear Patio beyond the Gate is for the Exclusive Use of the downstairs Studio Tenant, residing directly below the Master Bedroom in unit #120.

***Please DO NOT step onto the roof top area off the Loft bedroom, as this is NOT a Deck, this roof top is NOT SAFE. The locked storm door is for increased ventilation purposes only***

Please DO NOT use the locked fireplace or kitchen BBQ grill, they are inoperable.

There are 2 Fire Extinguishers located in garage & kitchen pantry closet, which also stores the 1st Aid Kit, Flashlight, Radio, Stepladder, extra lightbulbs, craftsman Dust Buster w/2 batteries & a Charger. There are emergency numbers on the side of the refrigerator, Digital alarm clocks located in each bedroom, and 7 auto sensor on at dusk Night Lights plugged in throughout the house.

Please DO NOT unplug the carbon monoxide detector near the breakfast bar.

There's a multi-plug surge protector plugged in behind the sofa, for lap top users. Flip the 1st light switch between the hallway & kitchen to turn it on. DSL router & web key numbers are located near the modem in the master bedroom.

DO NOT sit on the couch arms, as this has caused the arms to separate from the frame in the past.

There is FILTERED DRINKING WATER inside the refrigerator on the left side, place cup underneath gray tab and press.

***Microwave Directions: TIME COOK, then time/number of minutes, START***

To brew coffee in the Cuisinart ON DEMAND 1-12 cup Drip COFFEE MAKER, pour water into the right rear corner. *Use 1 level tablespoon of coffee per 2 cups of coffee into the white filter. ***SEE DIRECTIONS inside the folder on kitchen counter*** The only parts to wash are the 2 removable interior pieces that fit inside of each other under the lid, use the handle for EZ lift out. Use pouring spout on corner of this lift up coffee insert to fill S/Steel CARAFE located in cabinet, while brewing more coffee. See exterior right side for water level. See round gauge at top front to see how much brewed coffee is left inside.
To heat up hot water to make Oatmeal, Tea, or instant coffee in the electric Cuisinart chrome HOT WATER KETTTLE, fill & press down clear tab; this tab will pop up when water is boiled.

Please move the electric Hot Water Kettle, Coffee Maker, & the Toaster away from upper cabinet while in use, so the steam doesn't damage the base of the upper wood cabinet.

CLEANING REQUIREMENTS: The property will be inspected & sanitized after your departure. The Cleaning Fee you have paid will provide for 4 hours of normal sanitizing so that you can enjoy your vacation up to the last moment. YOU ARE REQUIRED to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it. Dishes can be left inside the Dishwasher laundering, and Towels drying in the Dryer before you depart.***DO NOT LAUNDER ANY BED LINENS***THE BED COMFORTERS & PILLOW SHAMS ARE DECORATIVE ONLY, IF THESE HAVE TO BE DRYCLEANED AFTER YOUR STAY, APPROPRIATE CHARGES WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR DEPOSIT. DO NOT REMOVE the VINYL Pillow or Mattress PROTECTORS, they are there for sanitary reasons.*** We are NOT responsible for clogged plumbing. There is a toliet plunger located under the hall bath vanity. If needed, call Roto Rooter @ 831-425-7669. There is a water hose in the front yard to wash off excess sand before entering the house.***PLEASE DO NOT place wet items into the Wicker items such as the Hamper, Laundry Basket, or Trash Cans, as this will damage them***The Wicker Hamper has a plastic liner for your convenience, there are more liners under the bath sink if needed.

***DO NOT use abrasive sponges or scouring powder on any Pots & Pans, Plastic Cooking Utensils, Glassware, or Flatware utensils as they will scratch and damage them.
***DO NOT use metal utensils on any kitchen Pots-it will ruin the Teflon coating ***

Propane BBQ Grill is only for Guests familiar with its safe usage-use at your own risk, IT MUST BE LEFT CLEAN. Cleaning Rags & Simple Green spray are located in a bucket under kitchen sink. Wire brush & butane lighter inside of grill. We cannot guarantee the level of propane gas in the tank, you're welcome to use any existing gas there. You may need to re-fill it, usually available at gas stations-please try to exchange for a non-rusty tank.

PLEASE be advised that any broken items by your party must be left at the house in it's broken condition and not thrown out. Any missing items will constitute an automatic forfeiture of your security deposit, and if necessary, an additional charge for it's replacement. A recent personal property inventory sheet is located on the kitchen counter for your review, along with more useful information during your stay. Owner is not responsible for weather conditions, utility outages, or items left at property by Guests.

CANCELLATIONS: Are NOT REFUNDABLE. They are Exchangable for a different Time Slot. You must call AND send an emailed 30 day notice FROM THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS YOU RESERVED ON.

Seabright Beach is patrolled by State Park Rangers, they have the right to inspect your Coolers as NO GLASS or ALCOHOL are allowed on the Beach.

By reserving, Tenants here in acknowledge that they have read and understand the above Rental Agreement Information, and agree to abide by all terms & conditions, to include those on the C.A.R. standard vacation rental contract.

Rental Rates

$3,100.00 to $3,100.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

YEAR ROUND RATES: $3,100/Week Base Rent + $100 Cleaning Fee + Required 10% or $310 City Tax (if less than a 30 Day Rental), totalling $3,510/week.

*Minimum Rental is a 3 Night Stay. Sorry, NO PETS.
2 Night Minimum Stay available during OFF SEASON only (October-March), except for Holiday Weeks, which will remain a 3 Night Minimum Stay.
Stays less than 7 nights are prorated @ $400/night Midweek, $500/night Weekends (FRI-SUN) & Holidays.
*A $500 premium will be charged for all stays during spring break & holiday weeks.

Additional $1,000 Fully Refundable Security/Damage Deposit for all Stays.

OFF SEASON Monthly Rates are $7,900/month, minimum 30 day stay. A larger deposit will be charged for Monthly Rentals, available only during the off season, October-March.

50% Deposit required to Reserve Dates; Balance Due 60 Days Prior to Arrival for all Rentals. Last Minute Reservations are possible, Guest to pay the additional Paypal fee, if there isn't at least a 14 day period for the check to clear.
