Angel Fire is a terrific place for all seasons. The Ski Resort offers great beginning and intermediate skiing. The kids' ski school is great and reasonably priced ($80-90) for a day of instruction, equipment, lunch and supervision. Many condos are within walking distance to skiing, but see pictures (some nice-some not). There are also many homes within 2-3 miles of the slopes. Shuttles are available or you can drive/park. The Resort Hotel has good stay/ski offers, but don't expect 1st class lodging. The condos/homes are the best value and also help save money on meals.
In the summer, AF has something for everyone from a PGA golf course, tennis, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, biking, bird watching, off-roading or just enjoying the beautiful nature that surrounds the area. Summer temperatures average 30-40 at night and 65-75 in the daytime. AF is a great home base with Eagle Nest, Red River, and Taos all less than 25 mi. away and it is only 90 miles to Sante Fe.
