Keystone is a ski resort in the Rocky Mountain State of Colorado, but it is also a great deal more. Lush and green in spring and summer due to the Snake River winding through alpine meadows, Keystone offers a wilderness experience for the intrepid, featuring more almost 60 miles of trails, many of them suitable for mountain biking as well as day hiking.

Those who prefer amenities a bit closer to civilization will find their needs met with two golf courses, both of them recipients of awards. Golfing alongside the Snake River will be a new experience for sportsmen used to urban courses.

For a literal "taste" of nature, tourists can try their hand at fly-fishing. With a bit of luck, they might be able to catch their dinner and enjoy the freshest fish they have ever eaten. Other water activities here include whitewater rafting or simply swimming near the shore of the river where it runs calm and slow.
