The Location: Greenport is accessible by car, train, bus and boat being approximately 10 minutes from the Orient Point ferry terminal for those coming from or going to Connecticut (casino anyone?), Block Island, etc. The Shelter Island ferry terminal is located in Greenport and offers a shortcut to the Hamptons, Montauk and the South Fork of Long Island. The Long Island Rail Road will take you all the way from its Greenport station to Pennsylvania Station in mid-town Manhattan. The Tangier Outlet Shopping Center, Riverhead Raceway and Splish Splash Water Park are all only twenty minutes away to the west.
