The charming vintage lake front cottage is situated directly on the lake with views of the water from almost every room! From the parking area, you descend an easy flight of stairs to the front entrance. The entry opens to a sunny enclosed sun porch with comfortable seating to enjoy the pretty views of the lake. The large open living area has warm wood floors and features a fireplace, comfortable seating with a sleeper sofa, and a television. The dining space sits between the living and kitchen and the whole room provides a warm, comfortable feeling. A large bedroom with a queen bed and television is located just off the dining area. A full bath with a tub/shower combination is also located adjacent to the bedroom and dining. From the entry sun porch, a wide spiral staircase takes you to the lower level. Here you will find a large family room with 2 queen futons, a kids foosball table, bistro table and chairs and a television. Lots of windows provide for an uninterrupted and sweeping view of the surrounding water. A screen porch is located just off the family room and can access the dock and boathouse. A hot tub has been added this year to enhance your relaxation! Two additional bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with a set of bunks, are separated by a smaller but full bath with shower. The exterior lakeside provides lots of room to enjoy sunbathing, fishing or just relaxing and taking in the view. This lovely cottage has waterfront good swimming access. **June through August-Home is available only for weekly rentals**From Premier Properties’ main office, turn LEFT onto Memorial Highway (74A) and follow east for approx. 6 miles. On the left, just past the Lake Lure Municipal Golf Course and the Lake Lure Fire Department, turn LEFT onto Charlotte Drive. Continue on Charlotte Drive for about 100 yards. About three houses past Storm Ridge Road on the left, you will see an outbuilding painted green (#462 is on it) on the right hand side of the road. Parking is just before the outbuilding. The roof of Lazy Days is visible from the parking area. There is only room for two cars, possibly three if smaller. The steps leading to the front entrance is located in between the green outbuilding and the top of the roof of the house. NOTE: The laundry room is on the lower level outside of the screen porch on the right side around the corner as you come out of the house.Sleeps 10-3bdrm, 2bath, 1 qn, 1 dbl, set of twn bunks, 3 qn futon in family rm w/foosball/TV. Vintage lake frt cottage directly on the lake, outstanding views, dock with boathouse, comes with 2 kayaks, good swimming sunbathing area off dock.
