Merrill House, located just South of Newport, is an oceanfront home with private beach access. Nestled into shore pines and natural landscape, there is a beautiful stretch of coastal vegetation between the house and the shoreline, making the perfect mix of the Oregon Coastline where wildlife meets the sea. Railroad tie landscape stairs lead you to the beach trail, and once you've made your way to the beach you'll have opportunity to explore 7 miles of coastal shore! Such a beautiful walk to the sand where quiet beach strolls or playful family times awaits you. Ocean view living room, dining room and master suite. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, family room, fenced in patio and a kitchen nicely equipped include the original Imperial double oven and pull-out cook top. The master suite is located in the loft above the living room and offers ocean views, king size bed, single futon sleeper and a private bath with shower. The ocean view living room has a nice seating arrangement near the wood burning stove, a queen size sofa sleeper and a corner table with four chairs for games, morning coffee or small meals. Ocean view dining room has a large table with seating for 10. You’ll enjoy all the extra touches in this home such as radiant heated floors, gas BBQ, and ocean view hot tub. Three of the bedrooms, guest bath, laundry and patio are adjacent to the family room. Futon couch which folds to a double bed, TV with cable, VCR/DVD, Play Station 2 (bring your favorite PS2 games), puzzles, books, VCR/DVD, Play Station 2 (bring your favorite games with you) all make the family room easy to enjoy. Children’s room has a twin bed with an easy pullout twin trundle, games and toys. Large second and third bedrooms each have queen size beds. Guest bath has a double sink and tub/shower combination. Other than the loft, this home is all one level and easy to access. Extra twin size sleeping mattress is stored in the garage area and can be moved into the family room as needed. You are welcome to bring up to two well-behaved dogs to this Dog Friendly home; additional $50 pet cleaning fee applies. Come stay, relax and enjoy at one of Oregon’s premier oceanfront homes!From Newport, Oregon, drive South on HWY 101 (Coast Hwy) over the Newport Bridge. Staying on Coast Hwy (Hwy 101) travel just 100 yards south of the turn off to the ariport. Turn RIGHT at the mailbox with the address 9080 S. COAST HWY, South Beach, OR. Narrow, gravel drive up a slight incline. Room to park up to four vehicles. There is NO room for RV's or towed trailers in this drive, please do not bring them to this home. Lock box is located at the front door inside the small mailbox.
