Enjoy access across the street to a semi-private swimming pool & hot tub. Easy walk 1/2 block stroll to the Arroyo Grande Open Space which has a gentle path down to the Upper Harbor area with all the boats. Enjoy (on the weekends only) a FREE water taxi boat ride. The water taxi will let you off near the bridge to walk 2 blocks to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, or further down the Lower Harbor & let you off 1/4 block to the large sandy Harbor beach or the fun Crows Nest Restaurant. This fun restaurant has live entertainment & a great view of the boats going in and out of the harbor, while you are dining either inside or on the heated patio.From San Jose, take Hwy 1 South towards Watsonville/ Monterey. The 3rd Exit is Soquel Ave. Go off on the right and at the Stoplight turn Right again. Go down to stoplight at Soquel and turn Left. Go about 1-1/2 miles and turn Left on Forest Ave - There is a Fosters Freeze on the corner. 248 Forest Ave is on the Left, about 4 homes down. You can park 2 cars in the driveway and one in front. There are no parking permits required on this street. To go to the swimming pool and hot tub, walk across the street and down the driveway slightly to the left with the small brick pillar next to it. They are located behind the first house. To go to the beach, walk down the street towards the ocean. At the end, turn left and take the trail through Arroyo Gulch (great blackberry picking during the summer). At the bottom of the hill you will find the Upper Yacht Harbor. If you take the path to the Right you will end up on Eaton Street. Go Right on Eaton, pass the Seabright Brewery (famous for fun live music) and go to the edge of the San Lorenzo River. There is a path down to the pedestrian bridge that goes over the River and ends at the Boardwalk. If you go to the Left you will see the FREE water taxi pick-up area. The water taxi will take you for a free boat ride around the harbor or you can get off at any stop. The large & sandy Harbor Beach is the stop nearest the Ocean. Enjoy.
