Gaze out the Living Room, Dining area or Kitchen window as well as both bedrooms for an unsurpassed view of several of Pleasure Points famous surfing areas, and all the way to Monterey. It's located on the corner of East Cliff & 33rd Avenue it is a perfect oceanside retreat. Enjoy the Santa Cruz decor with many authentic old Santa Cruz nick-knacks. There is a handicap toilet & a ramp outside the patio to the back door. The master bedroom also has a fabulous view of the Monterey Bay & the stars at night with a Queen bed. The 2nd bedroom has some fun original paintings & a Double bed. This home is very special & has been loved by the owner's family & friends exclusively until now! Don't miss this view with nothing between you & the water except a one-lane, one-way road. There is DSL at the home. Sorry no pets or children under 10 as there is no fence between the home and the street. There is a large grassy front yard & private enclosed Hot Tub & outdoor dining area (seats 4) with a Gas BBQ. Capitola is a 7-minute drive away or a short & mostly level walk or bike ride on the bike path. There are bench seatings along East Cliff to watch early morning surfers & great for walks. This is a wonderful home to bring bicycles & bike along East Cliff Drive. (Bikes can be stored in private garage) & then go on down to Capitola Village for outdoor beach-front dining, music, & shopping; or for an ice cream on a hot day! Monterey is 40 minutes away & downtown Santa Cruz Boardwalk/Wharf is 10 minutes away by car. There is a 27" flat screen in the Living Room. The entertainment center also has karaoke capability if guests bring their own microphone & cds with graphics. The washer & dryer are in the garage; along with patio chairs and beach chairs. Lots of lawn chairs & some beach towels are stored in the garage too.From San Jose, take Hwy 17 South towards Santa Cruz. Exit Right to Hwy 1 towards Watsonville/Monterey. Take 2nd Exit, Soquel Ave. At top of exit ramp's Stoplight, turn LEFT. Go 2-blocks to next Stoplight and turn RIGHT at 17th Ave. Go down 17th Ave for 2+ miles. After passing through the Stoplight at Portola, 17th changes to East Cliff and bends to the LEFT. Follow up through the Avenues, past several beaches to 33rd Ave. Turn LEFT into the driveway after the home which is easy to recognize by the landmark mailbox with a flamingo on top of it. Two cars can be parked in the driveway. Take the key from the lock box next to the RIGHT side of the garage This key opens the front door, or go LEFT around the home to the back gates. Go through the small one and then left to the next one. The key opens the back door by the hot tub.The High speed internet connection is located at the back bedroom's desk. The network name to chose is Flamingo Del Mar as several networks will show up. The password is 49641d067a An Ethernet cable is there for a hard connection & wireless will also work. The key to the garage door where the washer and dryer is is by the kitchen on the Coffee plaque with twirlie wire on the wire with a surfboard key holder-(and it's labeled on the back.)
