La Canonica is an attractive property at the foot of the town of Cortona, is the presbytery (“Canonica”) of a small 11th century church that still forms the back part of the house. The garden consists of gravel and a well kept lawn.
Property Details
La Canonica has three floors connected by a sandstone staircase. Almost all windows look out over the garden. Ground floor: the entrance door leads directly to the living room/kitchen/dining room. Although a single room, it is well divided into the various zones with a beautiful worktop housing sink, stove and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a small portico, with an antique wood oven, ideal for summer meals. Behind this there is a small outbuilding houses the washing machine. A twin bedroom with joinable beds and a small bathroom with shower complete the ground floor. First floor: twin bedroom with joinable beds with en suite bathroom with shower and large double bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom with tub. Second floor: A study leads into a large double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub.
Rental Policy
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
- 30% as deposit to be paid on the act of booking plus the costs of opening the file Euro 40.00.
- 70% as balance to be paid in the forty days preceding the beginning of location. Balance payment by Credit card will be accepted.
BOOKINGS MADE LESS THAN 40 DAYS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF STAY:
In this case the clients must make the payment of the total amount of the rent in one single installment on the act of booking. The way of payment will be the same as in the normal booking procedure.
Arrival Times
Rental changeover date is saturday, check in between 16:00 - 19:00
Additional Rate and Deposit Information
SERVICE INCLUDED: electricity, water, gas for cooking use, initial and final cleaning, weekly linen, garden and pool maintenance;
SERVICE ON REQUEST: Extra cleaning for a minimum of 2 hours (€ 15,00/hour/cleaner), extra linen (€12,00/per person), heating (on consumption up to date market prices), firewood (€ 15,00/100 Kg), internet fast connection (€ 10,00 per week).
