Sandbridge Beach is a private coastal community located just south of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Due to the fact that public parking is restricted small areas to the north and to the south, Sandbridge's five-mile long beach is always uncrowded.

"The Contemporary Castle" rests among rolling, grassy sand dunes and offers its guests panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Even though you're on vacation, you'll want to rise early...the sunrises are magnificent! Early morning beach walks are often rewarded with the discovery of beautiful shells or glimpses of pods of friendly dolphins frolicking in the surf.

With its commanding views of the Atlantic, the two-story "Contemporary Castle" provides guests with a haven of comfort and relaxation throughout. Most all of the rooms have very high vaulted ceilings with Hunter fans to circulate the refreshing ocean breezes.

All five bedrooms are quite roomy with lots of storage space provided. There are two master suites: the first-floor master suite provides both a kitchenette and a private bath with jetted tub; and, the very spacious second-floor master suite offers guests a private ocean sundeck and a private bath with skylight.

The airy greatroom provides panoramic ocean views through the 28 foot window-wall that leads onto the spacious ocean sundeck. Soft leather sofas caress you in comfort, and there's a big-screen Sony television with DVD player as well as a Fisher compact stereo system.

Adjacent is the open and airy diningroom highlighted by a large glass atrium with great ocean views and a custom-made granite dining table. There's also a lovely custom, glass-brick staircase that leads down to the first floor.

Just beyond the diningroom is the newly remodeled kitchen boasting gleaming blue-pearl granite countertops, custom knotty-pine cabinetry, a work-island and a spacious pantry.

Back on the first level, the enormous garage/gameroom provides guests with a Valley billiard table and a Kettler ping-pong table as well as sofas and game tables. And to keep refreshments close at hand, there's an extra refrigerator.

Exiting the first level at oceanside, guests enter a shaded deck at dune level where they can relax and watch the little ones play in the sand. A shower with both hot and cold water is conveniently located on the deck. Nearby, in the shade, is a comfy hammock for a afternoon siesta. And, of course, just a short walk over the dune and you're on Sandbridge's five-mile beach.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Within five (5) days of reserving a week, 50% of the rental fee is due.

There is a 13% City of Virginia Beach Lodging Tax.

There is a property cleaning fee of $140.
