Enjoy the fireplace, take a bubble bath in the antique claw foot tub, relax under the stars in your own private hot tub, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet from two big rocking chairs on the screened back porch.
From its convenient location, you can walk to town, hike to the Kalamazoo River, or bike around Saugatuck's quaint neighborhoods. A few minutes drive puts you at the Lake Michigan shoreline. Both Saugatuck's Oval Beach and Saugatuck Dunes State Park offer swimming, beachcombing and spectacular sunsets. However, many guests choose to unwind from the active lifestyle and enjoy the ambiance of a simpler time that the Gothic Cottage offers. Built in the 1800's, it truly is one of Saugatuck's original summer cottages. Bead board walls, local pine floors, patchwork quilts, and antique stained glass will make your stay a special one to remember. An old apple orchard next door and a woodland ravine out back provide additional privacy, as well as plentiful supply of wildlife. Don't be surprised to see hummingbirds, deer, wild turkey, or a groundhog passing through your yard!

Rental Policies

Property is ONLY for the use of registered guests. Pets and/or children must be disclosed at the time of reservation. All linens and paper products provided. Damage deposit may be required.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Gothic Cottage rents nightly for $165 for 1 or 2 people. We are one of several cottages who advertise together as part of the Saugatuck HideAway group. We maintain our own up-to-the-minute availability calendar on our website www.SaugatuckHideAway.com and also a toll free reservation line at 800-910-2272. Please feel free to check on line or call for more info. In general, we require payment at the time of reservations and payments are refundable in case of cancellation to the extend we are unable to rerent your time. There is a minimal rebooking fee to cover our processing expenses. A damage deposit on week stays and a pet deposit may also apply. We have minimum stays of 3 nights on weekends during prime season, but are happy to work with you on arrangements that may better fit your particular leads, so please feel free to give us a call.
