If traveling from the US get your passport out and get ready to relax and enjoy one of the finest private sandy beaches on the Great Lakes! Our family cottage on Pelee Island in Lake Erie is designed to enjoy swimming, boating, long walks and great beach vacation fun! Build beach fires or sand castles as you relax on one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Swimmers have fun, because the they can gradually wade nearly 50 yards into the lake on a sandy bottom before it is over your head which is great for kids! And of course, Pelee is known for its world class small mouth bass and walleye fishing! Located on the east shore of Pelee Island, Ontario this cottage is reached only by the ferry boat from Sandusky Ohio or Leamington, Ontario or by plane. There are bikes you can ride all over Pelee which is about 7 miles wide and 9 miles long. A row boat with oars is available for you to use for fishing, or keep your own watercraft at one of the Pelee marinas. People who enjoy privacy, or who like to read and relax will enjoy this cottage.

The cottage sleeps 10 to 12 comfortably, with a full bath, kitchen and living/dining with a view of the beach and lake. Master bedroom sleeps two in a queen bed. First floor bedroom sleeps two on a full size bed. Additional first floor bedroom sleeps one on a single bed. Spacious upstairs bunk room sleeps 6 w/ 2 sets of bunk beds and two singles, plus two love seat sofas for games!

Walk out onto an enormous deck that surrounds the cottage and overlooks the beach and lake. There are several nice restaurants on Pelee and the great Pelee Winery! Email me for images of the cottage or beach or for more information. Here are our 2010 / 2012 rates:

$200 Security Deposit

Cottage can be reserved May through October

Before June 23 or after September 8 - $900/week or $145/night (3 night minimum)

June 23 through September 8 - $1275/week or $210/night (3 night minimum)

5% Discount available when rental fees are paid in full prior to April 15, 2012

Rental fee must be paid 60 days prior to use unless booking closer to actual use. A key and complete instructions and directions will be provided upon receipt of payment.

Cleaning Fee - There is no cleaning fee if the renter cleans the cottage and leaves the cottage in excellent condition.
