A Bay to Remember (ABTR) is an extremely comfortable NO-SMOKING vacation home on a one-acre partially wooded lot with wonderful bay views, especially sunsets. It rents weekly for vacationers or monthly for snowbirds. It is located within the beautiful, gated Plantation with a pleasant walk to the beach and tennis courts.

ABTR has 100% tile floors, and around 1,800 square feet of deck, split between two levels. The upper deck has a fully-screened porch overlooking beautiful Apalachicola Bay.

Each bedroom and both living rooms have sliding glass doors looking out onto the Bay. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom.

ABTR has a good-sized kitchen, fully stocked with utensils, glasses, dishes, cookware, blender and other electronics, etc.

3 flat-panel Cable TVs (42", 37", 32") with 4 movie channels, long-distance phone service, wireless Internet for your laptop, linens and towels are all included.

Dogs under 35# are welcome. St. George Island is dog-friendly, even the beaches – except for the state park. However, the state park on St. George Island has miles of trail where dogs are allowed.

Rental Policy

Most rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Other timeframes considered. Monthly rentals (Oct, Nov, Dec) are 28 days. SNOWBIRDS-Major discounts for 2-3 month rentals. Maximum occupancy is 7 people. Dogs under 35# are welcome, will consider others upon request. 50% of rental fee is due for a confirmed rental, balance on arrival.

Arrival Times

Check-in is 3 PM (sometimes earlier if no one checks out on that day). Checkout is 10 AM.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Major breaks for multi-week or multi-month rentals, 4-night minimum rentals are available, except during summer season and peak weeks. Our prices now include the following: rental agency fees, gated community entry/security fees, linens & towels, cable TV, wireless Internet for your laptop, free long distance phone service, and cleaning upon departure. Only taxes (9%) and optional trip insurance are extra. 10% Seniors (60+) discount available on weekly rentals. 10% repeat renter discount available on weekly rentals - cannot be combined.
