Located less than 30 minutes from downtown Asheville right in the middle of the forest. Lots of hiking, fishing, exploring. Sleeps 6 easily. Offers you all the comforts of home. Pet and family friendly!

Property Details

At Fox Den, there is plenty of room to sleep at least 6 adults and, of course, pets are always welcome. 2 bedrooms downstairs(1 Qn bed, 2 twin) for the adults and 1 huge loft upstairs(1 Qn bed) for the kids.

Inside, enjoy one of our many movies on DVD or on cable TV, roast marshmallows in the large stone fireplace, use our poker set professional dart board, play one of many board games or let the kids play Nintendo or foosball. For die-hard computer users, you can check your e-mail on the computer.

Outside, watch for deer, turkey, and foxes that frequent the woods, drive up to Big Bald Mountain for one of the most spectacular views on the east coast, hike the 2 mile Wolf Laurel Nature Trail or even the Appalachian Trail just up the hill. Kids can go exploring down the many mountain creeks or play on the playground made from real logs, and the entire group can enjoy taking a dip in the heated pool May-Sept.

Guests can easily travel into Asheville for the Biltmore House, great shopping, or check out the music and local shops. Contact the local adventure company for guided mountain biking, river rafting, and horseback riding trips. Frisbee Golf lovers can play a national course located at Mars Hill College just up the road.

While visiting Fox Den, stargaze at a sky you can't even imagine – and enjoy a rustic mountain feel while not exactly roughing it.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Rates are based on weekly rentals, but you are welcome to rent for shorter or longer periods of time.
2 day: $372
3 day: $518
4 day: $664
5 day: $810
6 day: $956
7 day: $1007(all year).
The rental rate will give guests one free admission per paid night to the following local attractions: Rock 'n' Water whitewater rafting, Lake Lure Tours, Golfing at Reems Creek, Asheville Historic Trolley Tours and Asheville's Fun Depot
