The Minos Luxurious (but low budget) B&B - located at the Amstel River, at walking distance to many famous venues – is perfect for who is staying in Amsterdam for work or short vacation rentals. It offers 2 double bedrooms and TV/DVD/CD/ADSL.

Property Details

Bed and Breakfast is set in a beautiful 17th century canal house. The hosts, a gay couple, offer you high quality and friendly service (and of course a delicious breakfast!).
In principal there are 2 beautiful double guest rooms with views to the garden, but in case you come with a larger group of friends, one extra room is available. Shared bathroom and toilets.

Being a B&B, the whole house is shared between the owners and the guests. Your privacy is though guaranteed: you have your own room and keys, so you can come and go as you please. Everything is actually very relaxed and pleasant - you will really feel at home and that you are staying with friends.

The residence offers a lot of space and style, with sight to the Amstel River on the front of the building and to the garden on the rear. All rooms are tasteful and convenient with beautiful furniture and modern art on the walls.
The house offers also a dining area, a living room with a big flat-screen TV, many media equipments, books and lot of charm.

Rental Policy

* All bookings require a valid credit card - AMEX, VISA or MASTERCARD. We need please the following details:

- Your name as printed on the card;
- Number;
- Expiry date;
- Security code (on Visa and MasterCard is the last 3 digits on the signature’s field, on Amex is the 4 digits printed on the front).

Notes: For security reasons, please send your credit card details by fax or telephone only (numbers printed on e-mail or click here). Some clients split the number of the card in 2 different e-mails, which by experience, never caused problems. We are working now on a secure payment system.
If you prefer, you can also pay via PayPal online secure system; please send us a note confirming you wish to pay this way. This system will take longer to confirm your booking though.

* Full details (address, directions, how to get your keys, etc) will be given on your booking confirmation;

* Payment policy :

1) Deposit of 50% of the total value charged on your credit card at the time of your booking. Your booking is confirmed only after this payment;
2) The last 50% should be paid in cash upon arrival to your host. This balance can also be paid by PayPal or credit card (in this case, 14 days before arrival). By credit card we will add 5% administration fees.

* Cancellation policy:

1) From reservation to 15 days before check-in date: 50% of the deposit as cancellation fee
(= 25% of full rate);
2) From 14 to 8 days before check-in date: 50% of full rate as cancellation fee;
3) Within the final 7 days or no-show, it will be charged 100% of full rate.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

> For 2 or more nights bookings:

Single = 95 Euros per night
Double = 115 Euros per night

> For 1 night booking there is an addition of 20 Euros.

> We offer 10% discount for 7 or more nights.

> All rates are inclusive VAT and Tourist Tax.

> Special period's surcharge (minimum 4 nights stay):



+15% for Easter (10, 11 & 12 April 2009);

+50% for Queen's Day (29 - 30 Apr);

+25% for Gay Pride (first weekend of Aug: Fri & Sat);

+25% for IBC Conference (12 - 15 Sep 2008);

+25% for New Year's (28 Dec - 1 Jan).



> For Christmas, although no surcharge, we require min of 4 nights.
