Clovelly Lodge is the perfect base to explore Cape Town, at the heart of the Table Mountain National Park. Breathe the fresh air of Cape Town’s green-belt with all the city’s attractions nearby. Indulge in a leisurely breakfast at the B&B guest house, or kick back and relax in the privacy and independence of your own guest apartment.

Guest apartments provide child-friendly 4-star accommodation just five mins walk from Fish Hoek/Clovelly beach. Alongside the warm waters and whales of False Bay with sweeping views of mountains, valley & sea.

The B&B Guest House has cosy double or twin-bedded rooms (serviced daily) with en-suite showers, fans, heaters, hairdryers and safes, pure cotton linen, bath sheets and beach towels. Satellite TV and 24hr tea/coffee in the lounge. Secure parking and salt-water pool. Enjoy a choice of freshly-prepared cooked, continental or health breakfasts. Self-catering guests may also arrange to have breakfast at the B&B Guest House (extra charge applies).

Guest apartments are serviced twice a week and have one, two or three bedrooms (some have wheelchair access) with full or partial sea views, satellite TV and fully equipped kitchens. Each unit has an independent alarm and there’s secure parking with automatic gates. You also have a private deck or patio for barbecues, eating al fresco, sipping sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine. The enclosed grounds have a salt-water pool and laundry.

Clovelly Lodge is 20-30 mins drive from the city centre and 30-40 mins from the Airport.

Smokers are welcome to indulge anywhere outside the building (rooms and apartments are strictly smoke-free zones). We are happy to arrange car hire and/or airport shuttle. Credit cards welcome on short stays, otherwise payment is by bank transfer.

ACTIVITIES
The Winelands, Cape Point, Waterfront, Robben Island, Boulders penguins, Chapman’s Peak, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the famous restaurants and bars of trendy Kalk Bay fishing village are a short drive. Nearby beaches of white sand and calm tidal pools offer some of Cape Town’s safest swimming. Horse-riding, hiking, surfing, whale-watching, shark-diving, fishing, diving and outstanding scenic drives are nearby.

Clovelly golfcourse is just next door - Simon's Town, Westlake and Steenberg golfcourses are just 10 minutes drive.

Rental Policies

One bedroom units sleep 2 to 4 (and extra charge applies to the 3rd and 4th person). Two bedroom apartments sleep 4-6 people (again, prices are based on 4 people and a charge applies for extras). Plans for entertaining people not booked into an apartment must be discussed with the owners and any visitors staying overnight must be advised. Any breakages must be advised and paid for. Please note - smokers are welcome to smoke outside the building with due consideration for other guests on the property. A substantial deodorising fee is payable should guests or any visitors smoke indoors (this is for cleaning carpets, curtains, beds and bedding).

ZAR 700.00 to ZAR 1,000.00 per day
ZAR 4,900.00 to ZAR 7,000.00 per week

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

A 50% deposit is payable to confirm a reservation. The balance on high season self-catering bookings is due one month ahead of arrival (or on booking if less than one month before occupation). A breakage deposit of R500 to R1500 is payable on arrival for self-catering apartments. Payment on self-catering bookings of more than three days should be paid by inter-bank transfer. Other bookings may be settled by credit card, if preferred. Self-catering guests are welcome to join us at the B&B guest house for breakfast (a pleasant 5-10 stroll up the road) at R60 a head. Minimum stays apply as follows: low season (April-Sept) 2 days, high season (Oct-Mar) 3 days except 15 Dec to 15 Jan when it's 10 days.

Cancellation Policy (Self-Catering):
Cancellations less than one month ahead of the arrival date are liable for 100% of the booking value.
Cancellations one to two months ahead of the arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit amount.
Cancellations made within one month of arrival may be reimbursed in part for those days taken up by new bookings (at the discretion of the management), but otherwise forfeit the whole amount.
Shortened stays and no shows are payable in full.
